Elaine Phillips Antiques was established by Elaine Phillips in 1973 - the business is now run by her daughter who joined the company in 1985.Louise Phillips is the first female Chairman of the British Antique Dealers' Association (Est. 1918) and Chairman of the BADA marketing and publicity committee. The emphasis is on early Oak furniture, antique Oak, antique metalware, treen, portraits and decorative items such as Delft, brass, pewter, copper and textiles, tapestries.
The company specialise in 17th and 18th century oak furniture and associated decoration. The second part of the business is Elaine Phillips Design and Interiors offering a full design service, including curtains, soft furnishings, upholstery and project management both in the UK and Europe. Past projects include country houses in Scotland, Yorkshire and Cornwall, villas in the South Of France and Languedoc, apartments in Edinburgh and London as well as many schemes covering partial renovations. We also offer an antique restoration service.
